Field Technician

Locations: Oklahoma, North Texas, North Louisiana, South Louisiana, West Virginia, Arkansas and Colorado

Job Description:
To provide quality installations and technical support for all equipment leased or purchased for use offshore in the GOM and various locations on land. This position requires land and offshore travel, frequent overnight stays and the ability to problem solve in pressure situations. The Field Technician will directly report to the Field Operations Manager at the corporate office in Breaux Bridge, LA.

Salary dependent upon experience. This position requires the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including driving history, and a drug screen. DTS provides a competitive salary. This is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Qualifications:
A two-year Associate’s Degree or a minimum of one year experience in the electronics or communications field is required. Candidate should have experience with the installation and maintenance of fixed and stabilized VSAT terminals, Two-way radio, and possess a strong knowledge of telecom products and general telecom fundamentals. The individual must be computer literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and posses outstanding customer care, oral and written communications skills.

Account Executive

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Description:

The Account Executive is directly responsible for identifying, contacting, qualifying and developing viable new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts with an established and defined territory. As an Account Executive you will be expected to meet and exceed sales goals and overall objectives.

Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, proposing solutions, appropriate products and their applications, and creating and maintaining solid long-term business relationships. The position is a field based position with weekly sales meetings. There will be a mandatory attendance at industry trade shows DTS exhibits in. All weekly appointments and client information will be updated in ACT and reviewed weekly by the sales manager. Account Executives, when out of the office, will be contactable at all times. Competitive compensation plan, health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications:
Your skill set includes solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement, while building satisfied and loyal customers. Beyond a passion for sales and 5+ years in sales selling primarily to the Oil & Gas Industry, candidates should possess:

• BA/BS in business related field of study or equivalent experience preferred. Additional related
education and/or training a plus

• Excellent organizational, prospecting, canvassing/territory management and closing skills

• Self-starters with a good work ethic, the ability to work independently or as a team

• Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals

• Proven efficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, is required

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
