DTS’ Asset tracking is a map based solution used to monitor the location and movement of powered and non-powered movable and mobile assets including critical energy and maritime assets. This service is accessible from any java enabled computer or smartphone with Internet access.

Asset information can be sent via satellite in standalone applications or integrated into our VSAT installations worldwide. Real time and historical location and heading can be accessed through a secure server in a matter of seconds. This greatly reduces response time following disasters, lightens the load for dispatchers that have to track sensitive equipment, etc. When backed up with an Out-of-Band Management Solution, remote locations can easily be monitored even if the primary VSAT fails.

DTS’ Asset Tracking uses Iridium hardware and Short Burst Data, VSAT, or the Global Star constellation and Smart One hardware. The Smart One is  a practical solution to improve operating efficiency and security. Smart One can track large capital assets, vessels, vehicles, etc. The Smart One utilizes motion sensors, comparative GPS, custom configured censors to gather and transmit asset status information. Each asset is custom configured to track it's specific needs and provide intermediate and emergency alerts by email, text and cellular.
